While we are off to a cool start this morning, temperatures are not nearly as cold as they have been over the last few mornings. Our average low for today is around freezing, which is where many of are starting today. We will see a nice warm-up today with many spots getting into the middle to upper 40s this afternoon!
We will see mainly cloudy skies around throughout the day, limiting sunshine. And we will also have a light easterly wind which may make our immediate coastlines a touch cooler. All in all, though, today looks like a very seasonal day for mid-January!
I am looking over all of the latest data this morning in regards to our weekend storm threat. I will have an updated outlook with a preliminary forecast map issued this afternoon! You will not want to miss it.
