Tuesday’s Forecast: A Touch Warmer, but Still Chilly

Brought to you by Gragan & Sons Glass Company, Inc.

After the last two days have felt like Winter, we will see things moderate a bit today. We will still be chilly across much of the region, but I do think that most spots locally should be able to reach the lower 40s for highs today! You will still want the coat though as you head out today!

We are off to a cold start across much of the region this morning. Many spots are starting today off in the upper teens and lower 20s this morning. We will see temperatures slowly recover throughout the day. We will keep mostly clear skies throughout the day, with light winds, which should make it feel a touch warmer today.

We are in the midst of a moderating trend, and today looks to be our last cold day for a little bit. Temperatures will look to get back into the 50s and 60s by Wednesday and Thursday, which will feel a lot better than our recent string of 30s and 40s!

The mid-week warm-up though does come at a cost. A cold front will move through late Thursday, which will bring a chance of rain to the region. There is even the chance for some thunderstorms, too! You can get the full scoop on this part of the forecast by checking out last night’s report, linked above.

For those already looking ahead, I don’t see any massive cold blast or chances of snow for our region over the next 7-10 days. Actually, the 10-day forecast looks rather warm. The upcoming 3-day weekend shouldn’t be bad at all, with temperatures looking to be above average with clear skies!
