Tuesday’s Forecast: Another Cool & Breezy Day

Brought to you by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty

We have another seasonally cool day on tap across the region as we continue to battle with a northwesterly flow. Thankfully, we should not be nearly as cold as we were yesterday. Our average high this time of year is 61, and we will still be about 12-18° below average today.

Temperatures this morning are off to a FRIGID start! Many spots have dropped well into the 20s, making it feel like January and not late March. These temperatures have led to a hard freeze across the area. Wind chills are in the teens, thanks to gusty winds. The winter coat will be a necessity this morning!

We will keep rather breezy conditions, with gusts up to 20mph, around through the morning, and into the early afternoon hours. The winds will look to subside as we work through the afternoon. And, while we will not be as cold today, temperatures will still only max out in the 40s for many locations. Another cold night will be on tap for tonight.

Thankfully, we will see temperatures rebound in a big way tomorrow and on Thursday. However, we may have rain and some storms to contend with Thursday afternoon. The details on the potential storm threat for Thursday are rather sketchy and uncertain. Make sure to check back later today and tomorrow for updates as we begin to learn more about that threat!
