1We are off to a chilly start this morning with temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s areawide! Some slick spots are possible as a result of the freezing temps, so do keep that in mind as you head out this morning. All-in-all though, today looks like a rather seasonal day for mid-January.
Temperatures will look to max out in the upper 30s and lower 40s by this afternoon. While that is a couple of degrees below average, it’s not bad at all compared to the cold that will be coming late this week! The gustiest winds will look to be around through about mid-to-late morning, with gusts up to 25-30mph. Winds calm this afternoon and evening. However, we look to get back down to freezing tonight!
Remember, we are heading into an active week with a few winter weather chances! The first of those may be coming late Wednesday into early Thursday. Check out my report from last night for my current thoughts on everything we have ahead of us!
