July 4th Forecast: Hot & Humid w/ Hit and Miss Showers

Brought to you by Chesapeake Orthodontics

Yesterday was a hot and humid day as Pax River maxed out at 95°. However, yesterday’s storm threat proved to be more isolated than widespread. Today will look to be another hot and humid day as temperatures return to the lower 90s with high humidity. But rain chances are much lower today.

Futurecast shows that much of the region will stay dry today. However isolated showers and briefly heavy downpours look possible this afternoon, thanks to the high humidity. These should not be widespread and they should not last long. 4-9pm appears to be the window where one of these could impact the area.

While I do not have a magic ball to tell you what exactly will happen this evening, most fireworks shows should be fine! Any showers or downpours should clear the region by 8-9pm. However, do expect a hot and humid day with some air quality issues! Drier conditions enter the picture for tomorrow.
