Friday’s Forecast: Hot with Isolated PM Storms

Brought to you by Calvert Title Company

Our heat wave will continue today as temperatures will look to get up into the middle and upper 90s. The warmest temperatures will be found away from the water, along I-95. Our dewpoint readings will likely be a couple of degrees lower today, which will not make it as humid today. However, our dewpoints will still be elevated making it feel a couple of degrees warmer than it actually is.

With lower humidity levels our afternoon rain chances will be suppressed a bit as well. The best chances for afternoon and evening showers/storms will be across the Appalachian highlands. This is where the terrain will act as a forcing mechanism to help kick-off activity. In Southern MD, any showers/storms should be isolated. Our rain chance today looks to be 10-20%.

Afternoon and evening rain chances across the region.
