Flash Flood Warning for northwestern Richmond County and central Westmoreland County until 2:00 PM.

At 11:04 AM, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5-2.5″ inches of rain have fallen, with 1-2″ coming down in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5-2.5″ inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD: Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
