Friday’s Forecast: Quiet and Seasonal

Brought to you by Cedar Point Federal Credit Union

After yesterday’s consistent scattered rain showers, today will look to offer up quieter weather! Many locations will look to get into the lower to middle 60s this afternoon, which is only a couple of degrees above our seasonal average. Enjoy it while you can because we cool things down tomorrow! We will have a westerly wind around that may gust up to 20mph as well.

We are starting this morning off with some patchy fog, thanks to last night’s rain showers. We should see that fog burn off later this morning. Clearing skies will help to warm us up this afternoon. Clouds will look to build back in around sunset, though, as temperatures cool off.

Futurecast shows the potential for a couple of widely scattered showers after sunset this evening. The greatest chance of rain today will be along the mountains, thanks to upsloping winds. However, 1 or 2 showers may sneak across. I am not expecting much rain this evening, but don’t be caught off guard if there is a quick-hitting sprinkle this evening.

Long-term, we will look to cool things down for this weekend and early next week! Scattered showers are possible tomorrow as an upper-level low moves overhead. Behind it, temperatures look to be stuck in the 40s with lows that likely get below freezing! You will surely want to bring in any plants! Temperatures moderate some by mid-week.
