Monday’s Forecast: Becoming Quite Hot & Humid

Brought to you by Cedar Point Federal Credit Union

Good morning and happy first day of school for our followers in Charles, Prince George’s, and some Anne Arundel County Public Schools! After a warm weekend, we have typical back-to-school weather on tap for today with hot and humid conditions likely for most areas!

We are off to a humid start this morning which has allowed for some fog to form for some of you. Any fog should burn off by mid-morning. Mostly clear skies today will allow temps to soar into the 90s! Oppressive humidity levels will make it feel like we’re in the middle to upper 90s by this afternoon.

We do have a 10-20% chance of a spotty shower or storm this afternoon and evening. I am not expecting widespread activity, and I think most of us will stay dry today. Futurecast shows just how sparse and low-end the rain chances will be today. Nevertheless, I would not totally count out a random, quick-moving shower this afternoon. However, it’s nothing to cancel outdoor plans over.
