Thursday’s Forecast: Clearing Skies and Warming Temps

Brought to you by Calvert Title Company

We saw some rain showers work through overnight as a system passed to our northwest. Most spots locally only saw up to a tenth of an inch of rain. We will break out into sunshine later today as that system gets out of here, allowing us to warm up into the 80s!

Showers and the associated cloud cover are leaving the area this morning. These clearing skies will allow temperatures to rise quickly this morning. We will likely already be nearing 80° by lunchtime! We may see a touch of humidity this afternoon, as well, with dewpoints in the lower 60s.

Today’s warmer temperatures come as we begin our multi-day warm-up across the Mid-Atlantic. High pressure will begin building off of the coastline, allowing temperatures to surge into the 90s for the first time this season. Friday and Sunday should see highs near 90° with Saturday featuring highs in the middle 90s! Summer is just about here!
