A chilly December day is on tap as cold air continues to settle in behind yesterday’s front. Even with sunshine returning, temperatures won’t rebound much.
Today will be mostly sunny but still cold, with highs stuck in the mid–30s to near 40° across the region. A breezy northwest wind will keep wind chills feeling even lower, with gusts up to 25–30 mph through the afternoon. While we stay dry locally, snow showers will continue in the mountains thanks to ongoing upslope flow. Expect a bright but brisk day from start to finish!
