Thursday’s Forecast: Mostly Sunny & Seasonal

Brought to you by Chesapeake Orthodontics

Yesterday’s rain was more “miss” than “hit” as the bulk of the moisture stayed to the north of our region. We will get an update on the drought monitor later today, but much of the region remains in a Moderate Drought. Dry conditions continue today with seasonal temps.

Many spots are waking up to temperatures in the 50s this morning. We will see temperatures gradually rise into the 70s later on this morning. With enough midday sunshine, we should see many spots get into the lower to middle 80s. You will want the sunblock with SPF 30+ nearby today with a high UV Index!

Tomorrow does bring another chance of rain to the region. An incoming cold front will look to kickoff scattered showers and thunderstorms. Much of the region has been placed under a Level 1 “Marginal Risk” of seeing those storms turn strong to severe. Tomorrow’s rain chances sit at 40-50%! More updates to come later today on the rain chance.
