Thursday’s Forecast: Quiet with Seasonal Temps

Brought to you by Calvert Title Company

After a nice start to the day yesterday, we saw some evening storms roll through parts of Charles and St. Mary’s County with heavy rain and frequent lightning. Today, temperatures will be a touch warmer, but the evening rain chances look to be lower with only a slight chance of a spotty PM shower.

We are off to another comfortable start across the region this morning! Temperatures for many of us are starting off in the lower 60s. Temperatures will gradually rise through the 70s this morning, and get into the 80s this afternoon. We should see mostly clear skies for much of the day!

The highest chances of rain today (30%) will be to the southwest of DC, near Culpeper and Charlottesville. Those showers should die off as they propagate eastward. However, this is a slight chance, around 20%, that we see a spotty shower make it east of the Potomac after 6pm. Most will say dry, however. I would not cancel any outdoor plans for this evening.
