Thursday’s Forecast: Warmer With Shower Chances

Brought to you by Batteries Plus

Yesterday we saw our week-long warm up begin, and that will continue today! Temperatures this afternoon should finally be able to make it back up to what our seasonal average is for this time of the year– 70*.

We will see temperatures gradually warm up throughout the morning. We should be into the 60s by lunchtime, and into the 70s this afternoon! We will have gusty winds around this morning, but they should calm down a bit by this afternoon. We will keep mostly cloudy skies around for much of the day, which will put a cap on how nice today is.

As a weak piece of energy crosses the region this afternoon. It is possible that we see one or two showers break out. This should not be anything too extreme– just quick-hitting showers, and not everyone will see them. The highest chance for rain today will be between 5-11pm. Our Chesapeake’s Bounty Futurecast, which is shown above, does a great job at depicting this threat.
