Tuesday’s Forecast: Blustery Northwest Winds Deliver Winter Chill

Brought to you by Chesapeake Orthodontics

A much colder air mass has settled into the region today following yesterday’s strong cold front. While sunshine will be common, the cold will be felt thanks to persistent northwest winds.

Today will feature mostly sunny skies, but don’t let the sun fool you — it will feel cold from start to finish. Northwest winds will remain strong throughout the day, with gusts up to 35 mph, especially across the mountains and northern locations where a Wind Advisory remains in effect. Afternoon highs will struggle to climb out of the 30s for many areas, and when combined with the wind, wind chills will stay in the 20s at times. Winds will gradually ease late tonight, but cold conditions will continue into the next few days.
