Today looks to be a great day, by mid-May standards! Many of us will look to max out in the middle 70s this afternoon, which is just a couple of degrees below average for this time of the year. The absence of any humidity and the presence of initial sunshine will make it feel very nice!
We are off to a nice start this morning, which will lay the ground for this afternoon. We will see temperatures warming into the 70s by lunchtime. Clouds begin to stream in from the west during the afternoon, though. An isolated shower is possible this afternoon, but the better chance for rain looks to come tonight.
Our Futurecast shows that we will see rain make its way through between sunset tonight and sunrise tomorrow morning. This likely will not be a lot of rain, and I’m not expecting any thunderstorms. This looks to just be some light rain, that may drop up to a quarter-to-half inch of rain. Behind the rain, we begin our warm up, tomorrow!
