Wednesday’s Forecast: Not as Cold Today

Brought to you by Row House

We are off to another chilly start this morning, which I suppose is to be expected for this time of the year. Temperatures are in the 20s with a light wind and fair skies as you head out of the door! Today, we look to finally get back to our seasonal normal, in the middle 40s!

With the help of southerly winds, the warm air will allow many of us to warm into the 40s by noon today. However, those winds could be gusty at times, with gusts up to 30mph looking possible this morning. We will also see an increase in cloud cover as we approach sunset this evening.

I am continuing to track the last developments on our weekend winter storm potential. Overnight model guidance has come into better consensus that we will indeed have a storm, the question is just where exactly will it track? There will be plenty to monitor over the coming days. I will have an updated outlook on this storm published later today. In the meantime, check out the forecast I issued yesterday afternoon for my latest thinking.
