Wednesday’s Forecast: Remaining Breezy and Chilly

Brought to you by Sonder Studios

We’re starting the day with quiet but chilly weather across the region as colder air remains in place. Sunshine will help a bit, but it won’t do much to offset the wind.

Today will be mostly sunny and breezy, making it feel colder than actual temperatures. Afternoon highs will range from the mid to upper 30s north to the low 40s farther south, while wind chills remain in the 30s for much of the day. Northwest winds will be noticeable, with gusts up to around 25 mph, adding an extra bite to the air.

Looking ahead, we continue to monitor the potential for winter weather this weekend. Forecast models still show a storm developing, but its exact track — and how strong cold air to the north becomes — will determine local impacts. Small shifts north or south could lead to big differences in snow and ice potential, with Sunday currently looking like the main window if the system slows down. This remains an evolving forecast, and updates will continue as confidence improves.
