A Winter Weather Advisory (shaded in purple) has been issued for much of the region from 9pm Thursday until 5am Friday. Accumulating snow is likely Thursday, with impacts looking to linger into Friday morning. This advisory is for snow totals of roughly 2-4″.
Winter Storm Warnings (shown in pink) have been issued for the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia for Thursday night for slightly higher totals of 4-7″.
