Tuesday’s Forecast: Chilly and Cloudy Day on Tap

Brought to you by G&H Jewelers, Inc.

After warm temperatures yesterday afternoon, we saw our cold front usher in cold temps and gusty winds overnight. Thankfully, the winds have calmed down this morning, with most only seeing NW gusts at 5-15mph. These winds will continue to fall throughout the day.

Even though the winds should not be as bad as they were last night, we will see the cool weather remain. Many areas are likely to only tap out in the lower to middle 40s this afternoon. We will keep a decent amount of cloud cover around as well, with only 1 or 2 peaks of sunshine around lunchtime. The light NW wind gusts we will keep will add a bit of an extra chill to the atmosphere. Wind chills this afternoon may only get into the upper 30s!

Any precip from our next system tomorrow will hold off until after midnight. I think that we will only have to contend with cloud cover this afternoon and evening. I will publish an update to my forecast later this morning after I finish looking over the latest data. Our overnight model runs have pointed to even less moisture being associated with our system, which could hinder our already low snow chances. Nevertheless, I will have a full update out around mid-morning. In the meantime, feel free to check out yesterday’s extensive analysis on tomorrow’s snow chances.
