A strong cold front will sweep through the region tonight, bringing a period of scattered rain showers overnight. While rainfall amounts look limited, the bigger story will be the gusty winds developing late tonight and continuing through Monday, with gusts potentially reaching 35–50 mph at times. These winds may lead to difficult travel for high-profile vehicles and a few isolated power issues. Behind the front, colder air rushes back into the region, setting us up for a noticeably chillier stretch to kick off the week.
