Light snow will look to overspread the region overnight Friday into Saturday. A couple of inches are possible with some impacts.
A weak, developing winter storm will move across the Southeast Friday. However, only light snow is expected in the Mid-Atlantic.
Widespread, heavy snow fell on Monday causing high impacts. Many spots south of DC saw over 10″ of snow as final reports have started to come in.
As today’s winter storm moves out, eyes are already turning to the next threat of winter weather that arrives this weekend.
Behind this morning’s snow, a secondary area of low pressure will look to move through this evening with another round of light snow.
