The potential of an impactful winter storm for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast is growing as more parts of the forecast some into focus.
For the first time in nearly two years, the “Winter Index” is on the rise as the potential for winter weather exists over the next 7 days.
An impactful storm system is likely to bring a prolonged icy mix to areas west of I-95 with periods of heavy rain east of I-95.
