Southern Trend Means More Snow Northwest of I-95.

Brought to you by William Richmond Inc. Roofing & Siding

Our storm system is trending to the south, which means a forecast update is necessary! A period of heavy wet snow between 4-10am looks likely northwest of I-95 tomorrow morning. This will likely bring moderate impacts with a couple inches of wet snow!

There may be enough cold air in places areas along I-95 to even see a quick coating to an inch of snow. Some flakes are possible in SOMD as well. However, the highest impacts will be felt along and north of the Mason-Dixon Line, where a prolonged period of snow is likely.

The timing of this potential changeover is what makes this forecast tricky and high impact. A difference of just a degree or two, or a wobble of just 25 miles in track, will make all the difference.

A period of wet, accumulating snow is likely northwest of I-95. The timing is subpar, with a changeover right before sunrise and lingering through the morning. For this reason, school delays and closings are possible, if not likely, along and northwest of I-95.
