Today will look to be our last day of warmth as many spots make a run for the 80s this afternoon! The warmest spots will be found across central Virginia. The warmth will get kicked out of here thanks to an approaching cold front, which will look to bring a threat of rain this afternoon and evening.
While the overall severe threat looks rather low, localized downpours, gusty winds, and some lightning/thunder could be possible! Futurecast has been consistently showing that anytime after 4PM is fair game. Stay weather aware!
