An active weather day is on tap as strong southerly winds surge warm air northward and set the stage for storms this afternoon/evening.
Warmer air tomorrow will set the stage for our region to potentially see severe thunderstorms develop by the afternoon and evening hours.
After a cold start to the week, a weak warm front will lift northward this morning which will give way to warming temperatures.
Another cool day with temperatures only making it into the 40s is expected as our recent cold blast continues to hold on.
