March Outlook: Trending Towards Spring
After a February that featured wild swings in our weather, March looks to offer a gradual glide towards Spring-like weather.
A seasonally cool day is on tap thanks to northerly winds. We will look to have clear skies, though, which should help us get into the 40s.
A cool and showery start this morning will give way to afternoon warmth and gusty winds as the weather pendulum continues to swing.
A much more Winter-like day is on tap for the region as temperatures stay stuck in the 30s with passing rain and sleet showers.
We are at the peak of the weather roller coaster today as temperatures look to peak out in the middle 70s this afternoon!
Many spots will look to hold on to yesterday’s warmth as our next system is set to bring periods of rain to the region later today.
Temperatures will likely be nearly 20° warmer this afternoon than yesterday as the weather pendulum continues to swing.
Today’s northwesterly winds are funneling in cold air, which will lead to many areas getting into the 20s overnight.
